Delete Your CoachKrew Account

CoachKrew users can request permanent deletion of their CoachKrew account. A deletion request is scheduled. It is not completed immediately. There is a 7-day cancellation period. After that period ends, deletion is finalized, subject to the ownership rules described below.

Delete from the CoachKrew app

Coaches and athletes who can sign in can request account deletion in the CoachKrew mobile app:

  1. Open the More tab.
  2. Tap Profile & preferences.
  3. Under Settings, open Account Information.
  4. In Delete account, type DELETE, enter your password, and tap Schedule account deletion.

A head coach who still owns a team cannot schedule account deletion until that ownership is resolved. Transfer ownership on coachkrew.com and wait until the transfer is accepted, or schedule deletion for the team. Ownership is never transferred automatically.

After you request deletion:

  • Deletion is scheduled. Your information is not deleted right away.
  • There is a 7-day cancellation period.
  • During that period, normal app access is paused and the app shows a recovery screen. You can cancel there with Cancel account deletion. If a scheduling email is sent, that email also includes a link to cancel.
  • After the period ends, deletion is finalized. If you still own an unresolved team at that time, finalization is canceled and the account is not deleted. Ownership must be resolved before deletion can be requested again.

Can't access your account?

If you cannot access your CoachKrew account, you can request account deletion by contacting support@coachkrew.com from the email address associated with your account.

What happens to your data

When the 7-day period ends and deletion is finalized, CoachKrew handles account information as follows. Finalization does not mean that every record in every system is erased.

Deleted

  • The CoachKrew authentication account is deleted after finalization. You will no longer be able to sign in with that account.
  • Active push-notification tokens associated with the account are deleted.
  • Team staff membership for the account is removed.
  • Team membership associated with the user's athlete identity is removed where that membership exists.

Anonymized

  • Personal profile information is anonymized. The profile name is replaced, and the email address stored on the profile is removed.
  • If the account has an athlete record, that record is unlinked from the account, the athlete email is removed, and the name is replaced with an anonymous label.

May be retained

  • Certain historical team and sports records may remain in anonymized form, associated with that anonymous label rather than your name or email address.
  • Pending parental or guardian consent requests tied to the account are closed. Consent records are not necessarily deleted.
  • Some information may be retained when needed for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and legitimate operational purposes. That can include backups, logs, transaction records, consent records, security records, or information CoachKrew is legally required to keep. The Privacy Policy describes these limits. CoachKrew does not promise instantaneous or comprehensive deletion of every record in every system.

Parents and guardians

CoachKrew may be used by athletes under 13 after a parent or guardian completes the consent process for that athlete's invitation. A parent or guardian who wants to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with a child can contact support@coachkrew.com. CoachKrew may need to verify identity and authority, and may coordinate with the school, organization, or team administrator that controls the relevant workspace.
